B.A. Floor Restoration is central Nebraska’s hardwood floor restoration specialists, serving both residential and commercial jobs of any size. Inspiration for the logomark came from a hardwood pattern the client installed in his own home. The logomark also represents new life blooming from old floors.

The logo was originally design to feature ‘B.A.’ as a strong element in the design. As time went on, we noticed many people started referring to the company as simply “B.A. Floor” which didn’t match the structure and hierarchy of the logo. For this reason, along with other issues I started to notice as I became more experienced as a logo designer, we decided it was time for an update.

The updated logo keeps the same powerful logomark, but uses a more modern (yet still strong) typeface with a simplified structure. Amazing how a small, thought-driven update can make such a big difference to the overall design of a logo.
